This is the second sock box that I have purchased. The wool, patterns, knitting circular needle, book and gifts were so well thought out. Just in the process of finishing my first pair and a second and third pair will be knitted as gifts. I can get three pairs of ladies socks from two balls of wool. Please can we have more sock boxes! The box is sent as it is, without any outer packaging, I understand the impact extra packaging has on the environment. However, I purchased the box as a gift for a friend, the box was slightly damaged as you would expect from being handed and the address label was stuck to the box with no way of removing it. I had to open the box to check for a delivery note/invoice. I will now have to repackage the contents so that it looks presentable to give as a gift. If I had known that I wouldn't have been able to use the box as a gift, I would have purchased the items separately. Contents are lovely though and a lovely idea.

The box is packaged well and there is no plastic used.
