If you wondered what the January baby box from Knit in a box contains then keep reading.
This months box arrived in its familiar white box with the knit in a box logo and inside the contents are carefully hidden through lovely thoughtful packaging, which gives an air of luxury to the subscription. A lot of time and effort goes into the packaging.
Inside the carefully wrapped package I found three 100g balls of King Cole Comfort Baby double knitting yarn.
Two in a shade called Petal, (which to me is pink – what do you think?) and one in White. This yarn is a mix of acrylic and nylon and is lovely and very soft. The mix of acrylic and nylon ensures it is hard wearing and machine washable.
Also inside the box was a very cute little pink drawstring bag, which contained 7 buttons and a label.
Now these clever people at knit in a box have thought of everything and I also found a six-pack of yarn needles at underneath the yarn! No excuses for not getting on with this project.
But what is the project? The grand reveal or the gentle pulling of the hidden pattern from underneath the tissue paper, disclosed a UK Hand Knitting Pattern. Pattern UKHKA 167 for a cardigan and sweater that is for size premature to 2 years old.
